Position
Mechanical Engineer

FULL TIME | IN PERSON | BENEFITS INCLUDED

Overview
Design, troubleshoot, and relay technical product details and advise on applications. The individual will be required to learn how the product functions and adapt them to various CNC machine tool brands.

Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Will be working with accessories for machine tools.
• Designing of custom adapters to integrate products into machines.
• To provide manufacturing solutions to meet customers’ needs in safe and beneficial methods.
• Will require medium travel to tradeshows and some installations. Some international travel required.
• Assisting customers with product specifications, manufacturing operations, failure analysis.

Wages
$75k ~ 125k / year
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Approximately 5 years engineering work experience.
• Previous work related to CNC lathes and mills is an asset, but not a requirement
• Design experience and knowledge of GD&T standards.
• Knowledge of Fusion (or other 3D CAD software) and Autocad.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machines and manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of automation processes.
• Understanding of statics and dynamics principles.
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic principles.
• Understanding of steel properties
• Must pass a background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
